FOTD – Bollywood Bridal Makeup

I enjoyed my day off from work in the comfort of my warm bed catching up with all the videos of guru’s on youtube. I came across several videos of bollywood makeup looks, which I’ve always personally loved. Those “bollywood” type of makeup looks are always extremely dramatic, and dramatic eye makeup is definitely a top favorite of mine. As most of you may or may not know, the famous bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai (who is seriously the most beautiful woman out there) is a great example of this type of specific look. Lots of black khol eyeliner is the top key to this look, also a cut crease and very defined eyebrows. I attempted the look, its my first time doing a bollywood inspired theme, and I tried my best to quickly put together some type of accessory details to help enhance the theme. The hardest part about the look was blending the black into the brown, and also keeping a sharp edge, because I didn’t use tape and couldnt apply makeup remover since I had already put foundation and contoured my cheeks… I feel like this look would be fun if more colors were incorporated, or done with brighter, more vibrant colors. Practice is key and I plan on attempting at this style of makeup more often.
