My all-time favorite foundation. I have used various different MAC foundations, I have tried NYX, I have used Dior… nothing really compares to the perfect amount of flawless coverage than Revlon Colorstay Foundation. I have been buying this nonstop for a few years now. I have tried to use different products between that time, yet have always returned to this drugstore foundation and finally claim it to be my favorite foundation, even including high-end products. The quality of this foundation is amazing, its a medium coverage yet it appears very natural and I do not use a face primer daily (very rarely actually) yet this foundation will last me the entire day. This is my go-to for natural simple looks, as I have posted in previous entries, and for my heavier applications of makeup, for instance, special occasions.
If I could come up with any cons, I would, but I can’t.
Pros:
You only need a small amount to cover and this foundation bottle will last me a few months.
The coverage is build-able. You can have a more natural flawless looks or build it up around more problem areas for a heavier coverage.
This foundation lasts me mostly the entire day without face primer.
The foundation price ranges from $9.98-$13.99 depending on which drugstore you purchase it from.
You can mix it with moisturizer to make it an even more natural coverage, it will act like a tinted moisturizer.
I got a great deal at CVS today. If you read this soon enough, starting yesterday, Revlon products are buy one get one 50% off. I had a $5 extra bucks coupons, so I ended up paying $15 for two bottles. Great deal for foundation! Compared to MAC’s $30 Studio fix…. this one beats it.

How do you go about picking the right shade when you buy foundation from drugstores? I can never get it right
& end up resorting to MAC so they can match me w/ the studio fix, even then it isn’t exactly my color.
I know my skin so well I can usually eyeball a foundation and know it will match my skin tone. Some drug stores will let you exchange it if it isnt your color, however sometimes I just end up swatching myself haha
You can go to this website to match almost any foundation color. If you know what your Mac shade is, you can find out what you are in Revlon, Rimmel, Covergirl and all other drugstore brands. It also works the other way around, you can match our drugstore brand with all the high end brands also. Try it!
