I don’t think strip lashes will ever do for me again. I’ve stepped into the world of INDIVIDUAL LASHES! They are absolutely amazing, so much more natural looking, and last a ridiculous amount of time (up to 6 weeks if maintained well enough)!
A permanent lash glue is used with them and it is important to test the glue and make sure you have no reaction within 24 hours…(since this is different from regular lash adhesive). You build up the lashes to the desired effect you want and I love them because you don’t have to deal with the lash band lifting, like you would with strip lashes, even though they take longer to apply than strip lashes. But they’re awesome and I’m excited to introduce this into my services! Who doesn’t love full, thick, and dark lashes? Absolutely amazing.
The photo above is a sample that I did. Unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult (or a bit more time consuming) to do this on people with very sensitive eyes. The girl in the photo was very sensitive to the process (she has never even worn regular strip lashes so it’s normal she wasn’t very used to the feeling) so we didn’t add as much lashes as I would normally think would be appropriate.
In the photos she is NOT wearing any mascara. As soon as she applies the mascara now that the lashes are glued on, her real ones will blend beautifully with the added lashes and she will have a much more dramatic, yet natural, effect. Look how awesome it looks when her lid is exposed! No strips show!
I also took a quick video to kind of show the process. It’s still hard for me to not be in frame while I’m trying to film (blah!) BUT! I’m getting used to it!
