I’m currently switching up my dye routine rather than what it’s been for quite some time from the usual Manic Panic. This is Pravana Vivids, I am told it’s a henna/stain dye and lasts way longer (but it also harder to get out of your hair, so if you change it often, it may not be recommended!) while Manic Panic is semi-permanent and washes out sooner. It is still recommended that Pravana is used on pre lightened hair in order to get the true vivid color. So I currently have the dye in my hair right now, going to try this out for a bit and see how I like it and report back if it performs any miracles! 
Can’t wait to see the results, I heard it’s really hard to get the dye off if you ever wanted to dye it a different color and lasts forever!
I’ve been wanting to try but Pravana but kinda afraid as to how mixing the purple and red would look. I guess, I’ll see what you think of this new dye.
Yup, heard it was hard to get out and that is exactly what drew me to it considering I’ve been dyeing my hair red for almost 6 years! Depends on what you’re used to but the purple and red mix is my absolute favorite. I 90% of the time mix purple with whatever red dye I am using
Right now I’m using Manic Panic, purple haze and Vampire red. I’m loving the results but I bleached my hair so much that the color holds for a week maximum, and then I have to re-dye again…
Just wish it would stay longer.
I wanted to ask you about the l’oreal hi-lift reds. Do you know if it will damage my hair bad? I’m afraid of bleach and hi lift colors now. My hair recovered a bit but still :p

Yeah l’oreal hi-lift I would only do on roots, that stuffs strong and damaging so be careful. As for your hair washing out in a week, why so soon? Do you properly wash your hair in cool water with sulfate-free shampoo? It’s odd. But also remember manic panic is a SEMI-permanent. It is meant to wash out easily, that is why I have switched to trying Pravana Vivids which is more like a stain
Where did you get your Pravana Vivids? I live in LA, and I prefer not to buy them online. I was hoping for some place around here.
I get it at Salon Centric, however you have to have a professional license or be a student in the beauty field to shop there. I have no idea where else to purchase them
OH yea i use sulfate free shampoo but I think it’s just that my hair’s so porous that it doesn’t hold color anymore, also i wash my hair 3/4 times out of the week, that’s why i wanted to try the Pravana.
So if i understand correctly, u did not bleach before you used Pravana right? U just did it on your regular red hair?
I really want to try…Also you mentionned that wild orchid is a dark purple…Is it a match with the purple haze color? thanks <3
Nope I didn’t bleach my hair out, literally use it right over. Yes! I would say it is a dupe for the purple haze

Pravana does stay in the hair longer because it contains a bit of ammonia.

I had a client come in n she had black hair so I bleached it and it pretty light but the ends are a medium blonde she want me to use pravana and I have never used it b4 wiill her hair tur4nout. All one color?
I’m not sure, I am not a cosmetologist. Her ends will probably just be a few shades darker from my guess.
You may be able to buy Pravana Vivids off of a site called….KILLER STRANDS
