My Top 5 Favorite Drug Store Skin Care Products

Upon request, I have decided to do a post based on my favorite drug store products for skin care. Please note, these work for myself personally and may not work well for others depending on their skin types and conditions. This is usually what I turn to for basics or when I need an affordable product. This is not what I am using in my current skin care regimen, however I have used these in the past and will continue to in the future. All prices are estimates from stores such as Target and Walmart.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of these companies. This is my honest opinion.

1.) Clean and Clear Foaming Cleanser for Sensitive Skin – $4
I love this for a simple cleanse to take off my makeup and to refresh my skin.

2.) Neutrogena On the Spot Treatment – $7
This is especially great if you have random breakouts and want to speed the process of healing. You simply dab it on. Be sure to not pick if you are dealing with acne!

3.) Neutrogena Shine Control Mask – $7
I have oil production mainly in my T-zone and tend to get shiny so this mask helps keep it in control.

4.) Cetaphil Moisturizer with SPF 15 – $11
I love this product because it is fragrance-free, lightweight, non-greasy, and contains SPF protection. A little trick I like to do on days I do not require much foundation coverage is to mix my Cetaphil moisturizer with my foundation to create my own tinted moisturizer.

5.) Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser – $8
I personally love foaming cleansers. This isn’t a cleanser I would use to remove my makeup, however it would be something I would use doing my second cleanse on my face.

Great picks! Cetaphil is a great brand and I’ve been loving foaming cleanser as well, especially during the warmer months!

I’ve just started a Blog Hop for WordPress-hosted blogs (found your’s through Beautylish btw!) to help gain more exposure for them. If you’re interested please link up here: http://www.adorabeauty.net/?p=3607 =)

    Hi
I’m a newbie in your blog. I found one of your pictures in Google so I decided to check your website and I loved it =).

Thanks for your advices. I’m agree with the comment up there, Cetaphil is a great brand. I suffer of Dermatitis and a Dermatologist recommended me the Cetaphil soap so I have been using it since I was 12. It is amazing how this brand helps your skin. I’ll look for that product you showed, it looks fantastic.

    Regards from Mexico =)

I’m so glad I recently found your blog through youtube!
I’ve been thinking of becoming an Esthetician myself.
Which schools do you think are the best? Which school did you go to?
    Does it matter which school?

It’d be so helpful if you could respond :) Thanks so much!!

How exciting! I honestly went to an adult school and it was just as good. It might not be as pretty, but at the end of the day, your coarse it literally only preparing for stateboard. That’s it. Everyone ends up at the same exact building to take their test for the same exact license no matter what school they went to. Of course, I was fortunate enough to have one of the best Esthetician teachers who came back to reteach my year, so I got lucky.
