Here is a new favorite product I recently found while makeup shopping a few days ago! Ben Nye lipsticks. I was always so amazed at what great quality Ben Nye has, yet how cheap their prices still were. On my trip I picked up the Banana powder (which I don’t think I recommend for fair shades… I tried it once so far and it wasn’t very complementing! However, I still need to experiment…) and I picked up the Nudie lipstick. I swatched other shades as well, such as their deep red tones and berry colors. I was very, very impressed. The pigment was very vivid and most I swatched were matte shades, which I love!
The great thing is these lipsticks average at almost $10. I will definitely be picking up a wider variety of shades next time I am makeup shopping (as if I need any more lipsticks….). I have been into nude shades of lipsticks more often since they are less of a hassle to touch up and I am in love with the color I chose.
I paired this up with the Vanilla Sky NYX pencil. This is another very affordable lip combo! Hope you enjoy and be sure to swatch the lipsticks the next time you’re checking out Ben Nye… I believe you will be impressed as well!

Hii! I am OBSESSED with this color and after seeing your post I need it, but I can’t find the color “Nude” anywhere. There is “Natural” and “Nudie” on the websites I’ve checked but the Nudie color looks almost purple? I don’t know if it’s just the weird online swatch but do you know if the one in your pic is actually “Nudie” not Nude, and if it is actually just Nude, where did you get it?

Eek! Silly me! It is called Nudie!!! But it is definitely not a purple color, its similar to the color of a light concealer. It might just be a weird online swatch, I assure you the color I am wearing is Nudie. Sorry! I’ll be editing the post now, but thank you for bringing it to my attention

Ah. I’m back. This is kind of unrelated to this post but yours is the only review of Ben Nye products I can find, so here it goes anyway. I want to get the Creme Highlight/Shadow that Sam from Pixiwoo used in her Ursula Andress Video, but because the swatches are so impossible, I have NO idea what color to get the highlight in. My skin is NC20-25 neutral-mildly yellowish undertones, and I’m between Nude/Ivory for that SERIOUS Kim K, Scott Barnes highlight/contour. Any suggestions? Sorry to go all random but your makeup is gorgeous, I feel like I’d trust your advice!
Any suggestions for getting your lipstick to stay on longer with out a million touch ups. I love red but once it starts to wear off you get that lipliner with no lipstick terrible look on your lips and it feels like you have to constantly check on it. Do you suggest Ben Nye for long lasting. My issue is I want moisture and not that hard make your lips feel stiff 24 hour lipstick
Hmm. Do you fill your lips in with the lipliner before applying your lipstick? If not, that’s my favorite tip because you have that entire layer of color beneath so that when it starts fading, it exposes the red lipliner underneath.
