PLEASE know that I am NOT a cosmetologist!!! I am only able to professionally answer questions about skin since I am an esthetician. Although I have learned so much from my personal stylist, Danielle Ullman, I still do not feel comfortable answering questions about getting you to this color from other shades such as blonde or black. Please consult a professional hair stylist for those types of questions. If you ask anything in that sort, I will tell you to ask a professional stylist.

Sara,
I have question.
My hair color is dark brown/black. I want to dye my hair into dark red / burgundy. I don’t want to bleaching my hair.
I want to use permanent dye. I live in Indonesia. Commonly available brands are L’oreal and Garnier. Do you have any suggestions, what color suit me? And which products are right for me and should I use?
I also want to have a few streaks/highlights in my hair with bright colors. Such as blonde, or whatever fits.
I don’t know if it matters, but my skin is yellow Asia. So it might be to adjust the color of my hair.
Thank you so much
Hello, since I do not professionally do hair, I am only familiar with what my products and routine are. When I was first a red head, I used to dye my hair using Garnier. You should just go to the store and check the colors out there! I am not familiar with the names and it was so long ago I forgot which color I used. You really want to ask a cosmetologist who is a professional for advice! Other than that, just experiment! Sorry I could not be any more help, I wish you the best of luck with your hair.
