What is your hair color?
I switch it up usually every dye job, but I generally use Manic Panic products and mix between the bright reds and deep purples to create a burgundy. I also have blog posts and a youtube tutorial about dyeing my hair! Check them out using the search bar on my website and visiting my Youtube account (user name SaraAshouri)
What do you use as eyeliner?
It’s not the same every makeup look, but for simple looks I usually use Skinny by NYX and for my more complex eyeliner looks, I use Blacktrack fluidline by M.A.C. Find what eyeliner may suit you best with my blog post about the different types of liners:

Do you make youtube tutorials?
Yes! I do now! I have a few videos up and hope to start adding more as time goes on.

Did you go to makeup school?
No, I am self-taught and have practicing for about two years now. However, I have begun attending school towards my Esthetician license where the main focus is skin care.
How do you do your eyebrows?
I use Spiked by M.A.C. and that is the only way I achieve a sharp eyebrow shape. I have a quick tutorial you can check out:

I love having red hair….however I never did the second step of applying Manic Panic. My question to you is this. In your “How to Dye your Hair Red” blog if I were to use the Pravana, would I be replacing the Loreal Hi-Color with that? Or the Manic Panic? And would I even need to do the second step if using Pravana? My hair is naturally think and curly and long. However at the moment it is dyed soft black. What volume developer would you suggest also?? Sorry so many questions! Your an amazing artist and I enjoy your blog very much! Keep being bonita!
Please keep in mind I am not a cosmetologist! Pravana (Vivids, the part of their line that I use) is pretty much replacing the Manic Panic. You need pre-lightened hair in order for the color to show up just like Manic Panic and you do not mix it with developer. The Loreal Hicolor is what I use to replace bleaching my hair because you mix it with developer and it lifts dark hair. When using the Loreal Hicolor I usually use a 20 developer, however the most recent time I dyed my hair I had her use a 30 developer (I wanted it to become brighter). I know getting black out of hair is usually quite difficult from what I have heard, if you end up going to Sally’s and such, I would just ask the girls their what they suggest. You would most likely be doing probably a 20 or 30 volume. No problem, I love to help! Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you again!
I have no idea if my question will be answered since so many people are asking, too. But…I’m gonna give this a try anyway. I’ve been researching about red hair, such as its high maintenance and how often it should be retouched. I have been seduced by red hair and have wanted to try it myself, but I had to mentally prepare myself for everything. My natural hair color is dark brown, almost black. I got my hair dyed today and was hoping for a red velvet specifically, but it turned out to be a darker red than what I want. The red can only be seen in the light. I wanted it to be lighter, not like a fiery red ’cause I don’t want it to be too dark or too light, just enough to show the redness in any kind of lighting. But just how do I do that without bleaching? I went to Sally’s, and they were pushing me into bleaching. Pshh, like hell. It’s not like I want to lighten it IMMEDIATELY. So, I don’t mind waiting until it fades. Can’t I just re-dye it when it fades??
If I ever get the desired shade of red and must often do a re-touch, aside from using Loreal HiColor for the roots, do I have to use Loreal HiColor for the rest of my hair that has become a faded/dyed red with a different vol of developer or can I just use Manic Panic alone?
Of course your question will be answered!
What I’ve done was applied the Hicolor to my entire hair ONCE only. After that, only the roots get lightened and then Manic Panic to go all over! So yes, you can just use the Manic Panic alone
Thank you so much! Think Ill give it a whirl soon! I follow you on Twitter and tumblr too! Hahaha! Not a stalker, just love your blog!

I use tumblr a ton! I am going to follow you on there xo
I have a mascara question – I can’t find a good mascara that doesn’t clump or stick together… I am very low-maintenance with make up (ie: I do not wear any concealers, foundation etc and often wear no make up at all) but I do like to toss on mascara. I can not curl my lashes. What brand do you suggest for best natural look to thicken drab little eyelashes?
Hmm… I usually don’t like to invest too much into mascara because you toss them out so quickly (they last about 2-3 months). But I do remember trying the Diorshow mascara and loving it…however, what works for me is going to be totally different with you. What I would really suggest is that if you aren’t finding a mascara to give you what you want, you should look into false lashes. There are cluster lashes that can be applied and look super natural.
What esthetician school did you go to?
Do you have any hair tutorials?
Just stuff about cutting bangs or hiding bettie bangs
